When writing a blog, attracting new readers can be done through blog marketing.
Try using advertising to boost visibility. The majority of advertising does cost money, but it can be worth the price. Advertising your blog can be done in a number of ways. One example is though Google Ads. If you have a particular blog post that is attracting new viewers, it may be worth advertising it through Google Ads for a limited dollar amount. Another example is through Facebook Ads. You should already have a Facebook page dedicated to your blog where a link to each blog post can be automatically posted to your Facebook page through a widget or plugin. With a Facebook Ad you can target a certain audience with a link to your blog post on your Facebook page for a small cost. Search for these in order to boost traffic and save money.
When it comes to blog marketing, make sure to provide your readers with some insight as to what to suspect with them. You need to provide them with a summary of your post. Keep it short, about 2 to 5 sentences should be enough to get the point of the content across.
Your website should allow comments to be made by your readers. However, with some effort you should make sure you keep your blog’s comments section free of spam. Reader comments can boost your blog’s effectiveness. But posters who use your comments section to advertise their own websites are not only co-opting your marketing efforts; their comments discourage legitimate readers from participating and destroy the sense of community that comments sections foster.
You should participate in as many forums as you have time for. If you do not think that you have the time to do it, you should find the time. You will get a great deal of input about what people are interested in, and it will help you find the information to include in the articles that you are marketing.
Give away freebies. Freebies make customers like you. Not only that, but if the free item includes branded merchandise that shows off your logo, you receive free advertising whenever your client uses the item in public. Always keep this in mind when choosing the right freebie to give away.
Seek feedback from your readers through your emails. People love to give their opinion and feel involved. Allowing them to leave comments is a great way to measure their interest and concerns. Your readers will appreciate this, and you’ll get tons of tips on how to improve your article submission tactics.
Use social media sharing buttons like “Post to Facebook” and “Tweet this” on the site where you post your articles. If your blog post resonates with someone, they may well share it with their friends and drive additional sales. Don’t use the buttons yourself though, since an article that is “independently popular” is less likely to be perceived as spam.
